L’été 2025 marque un tournant pour Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. À l’aube du lancement de la Saison 4, NACON et KT Racing déploient une vidéo Dev Diary exhaustive, dévoilant la feuille de route d’une Année 2 placée sous le signe de la générosité et du retour aux sources.

Un Casino, cinq nouvelles voitures et des options inédites pour la Saison 4

Dès le 23 juillet, la Saison 4 propose une évolution majeure : l’ouverture du Casino, permettant aux joueurs de miser leur monnaie virtuelle sur des machines à sous ou au poker (à venir en cours de saison), avec à la clé des récompenses exclusives, véhicules et cosmétiques. Cette mise à jour introduit également :

  • Les Stock Races, courses réservées aux voitures strictement d’origine

  • L’Active Aero, un système amélioré de gestion d’aileron pour les modèles équipés

  • La possibilité de masquer totalement l’ATH en jeu

  • Le Group Ping (itinéraires collaboratifs jusqu’à quatre joueurs sur la carte)

  • Cinq nouveaux modèles : Aston Martin DB11 Volante, DeLorean Alpha5, Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato et Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Virtual Pair WideBody

  • Un Solar Pass désormais scindé entre un circuit gratuit et un circuit premium accessible via la nouvelle monnaie « Diamants »

Année 2 : taxi, housing, PvP et missions communautaires

L’Année 2, d’octobre 2025 à juillet 2026, s’annonce plus ambitieuse que jamais. Parmi les grands rendez-vous :

  • Retour des missions taxi dès la Saison 5, pour renouer avec l’esprit du premier TDU

  • Création de missions communautaires : les joueurs sont invités à voter (Détective, Livraison, Photographie, Adrénaline) pour orienter le développement

  • Official Racing Centers : hubs multijoueurs et PvP sur Hong Kong et Ibiza, refonte du matchmaking, nouvelles Live Events

  • Housing : la gestion immobilière signe son grand retour en Saison 8, avec l’ajout des missions Extrême et du mode Passager

  • Améliorations du KT Engine (performances et graphismes), ajustements économiques et enrichissement de l’offre saisonnière

Toutes les saisons resteront gratuites, à l’exception du circuit premium du Solar Pass. Le jeu promet des évolutions Quality of Life constantes, une optimisation continue (son, moteur, graphismes), et travaille déjà sur le crossplay, le cross-region et un futur mode hors ligne.

La feuille de route : fidélité à la licence, ambition technologique

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown capitalise sur la nostalgie tout en réinventant ses fondamentaux. L’équipe de KT Racing s’engage sur la durée, peaufinant chaque aspect : de l’économie interne au gameplay, du PvP aux fonctionnalités sociales, tout en restant à l’écoute de la communauté.

Les développeurs promettent de partager régulièrement de nouveaux Dev Diaries et d’inviter la communauté à s’impliquer dans le choix des contenus futurs.
