Bloober Team a révélé une nouvelle bande-annonce cinématique pour Cronos: The New Dawn lors de la soirée d’ouverture de la Gamescom 2025. Réputé pour ses titres d’horreur psychologique et pour le remake de Silent Hill 2, le studio polonais dévoile ici un aperçu atmosphérique de son prochain jeu, prévu sur Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC (Steam et Epic) et Nintendo Switch 2 le 5 septembre 2025.

Un monde entre deux temporalités

Cronos: The New Dawn est un jeu de survie et d’horreur à la troisième personne. Il propose un univers divisé entre deux réalités temporelles : un futur post-apocalyptique ravagé et une version dystopique des années 1980, dans un quartier inspiré de Nowa Huta à Cracovie. Le jeu développe une esthétique mêlant rétro-réalisme, science-fiction abstraite et ambiance rétro-futuriste pour plonger les joueurs dans un monde dense, angoissant et psychologiquement complexe.

Un chat pour guide et témoin

La bande-annonce dévoilée suit les pas d’un chat à travers les ruines de la Nouvelle Aube, servant de témoin silencieux au chaos qui règne dans cet environnement. Cette perspective atypique renforce l’étrangeté du jeu et met en avant son atmosphère surréaliste. L’animal traverse un monde hanté où chaque recoin semble chargé de tension et de mémoire.
