Ce week-end, Crunchyroll a électrisé les fans d’anime à travers le monde en multipliant les annonces lors de ses conférences à Anime Expo (Los Angeles) et Japan Expo (Paris). Entre retours très attendus, nouvelles adaptations et projets inédits, la plateforme a confirmé sa place centrale dans l’écosystème de l’animation japonaise.

Black Clover fait son grand retour

Après quatre ans d’absence, Black Clover reviendra officiellement pour une toute nouvelle saison, toujours produite par le studio Pierrot (Naruto, Bleach, Tokyo Ghoul). Cette annonce majeure a été accompagnée d’un message de Yūki Tabata, auteur du manga original, qui célébrait également le 10ᵉ anniversaire de sa création :

« La production de la tant attendue nouvelle saison de Black Clover a été confirmée ! Je suis très enthousiaste à l’idée de voir arriver cet anime après le superbe film qui est sorti. Grâce à vous tous, Black Clover fête son 10ᵉ anniversaire cette année ! Merci beaucoup de soutenir Black Clover ! »

Daemons of the Shadow Realm : Hiromu Arakawa de retour à l’anime

L’autrice de Fullmetal Alchemist, Hiromu Arakawa, verra son dernier manga, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, adapté en anime par le prestigieux studio Bones (My Hero Academia, Eureka Seven). Réalisée par Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger), cette série promet une plongée dans un univers mystérieux où fantastique et horreur s’entremêlent. Un premier trailer a été dévoilé pour accompagner l’annonce.

Les suites très attendues : Frieren, Re:ZERO et Mushoku Tensei

  • Frieren reviendra pour une saison 2 en janvier 2026, avec une diffusion simultanée Japon/France sur Crunchyroll.

  • Re:ZERO confirme une saison 4, produite par White Fox (Steins;Gate), prévue également en janvier 2026.

  • Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation prépare sa saison 3 pour 2026, avec une animation toujours assurée par Studio Bind.

Nouvelles licences et projets inattendus

Crunchyroll ne se contente pas d’élargir ses séries phares :

  • Kamen Rider arrive en anime avec Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider, prévu pour l’automne 2025.

  • La comédie romantique You and I Are Polar Opposites débarquera en janvier 2026.

  • MAD, nouveau manga de Yûsuke Otori, sortira en librairie en avril 2026, mais le premier chapitre est déjà disponible en français sur l’application Manga Plus.

Crunchyroll mise aussi sur la création française

Pour la première fois, Crunchyroll a annoncé sa participation à plusieurs projets d’animation française. Parmi eux :

  • Retour à Tomioka, un long métrage produit par Foliascope.

  • Dreamland, adaptation du manga de Reno Lemaire, produite par La Chouette Compagnie et Ellipse Animation, dont les premières images ont été révélées.

  • Un clip coproduit par Bobbypills et Kamikaze Douga a également été présenté.

Côté home vidéo, plusieurs titres populaires comme Kaiju No. 8, Blue Exorcist, SPY x FAMILY Saison 2 ou encore les films Haikyu !! et Blue Lock arriveront prochainement en DVD et Blu-ray.

Avec ces annonces, Crunchyroll confirme qu’il ne cesse d’étendre son influence, entre séries cultes, nouvelles adaptations ambitieuses et soutien à la scène d’animation mondiale.
